Small and growing businesses (SGBs) are global engines of shared prosperity: they drive growth, promote sustainability, and support equity around the world. Unlike many medium-sized companies, SGBs often lack access to the financial and knowledge resources required for growth. Moreover, many SGBs are faced with a “Talent Challenge”.
In this context, we are leveraging our existing expertise to deliver an engaging, interactive training called Leadership for Growth (L4G) that is open to organizations across South, East, and Central Asia. This program addresses current challenges faced in our region and focuses on leadership and management skills for middle and senior managers.
Our aim is to enable emerging leaders to manage their SGBs both in the present and in a rapidly changing world. The training will focus on skills needed to survive the recession (such as innovation, resilience, and systems thinking) and thrive in the ‘new normal’, whatever that emerges to be. As these managers grow their abilities, the businesses they work for will grow in terms of revenue and employment, thus contributing to greater economic prosperity across the regions in which they exist.
