Mrs. Sruthi Babu is a young entrepreneur from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She has a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering from Avinashilingam University and an MBA in International Business from Alliance University. She is also certified in Chief Innovation from Rochester, New York.
She is a dynamic and passionate social innovator working towards the societal need of defecation cleansing assistance for the mobility impaired population through her start-up - Dhanvantri Biomedical Private Limited. Their mission is to provide solutions for the locomotion and defecation for the immobile population at affordable cost with excellent quality. They are bringing this mission to life through an innovative product - Sahayatha - which is supported by BIRAC, DST, EDII government of India.
They have been recognized by innovation week IWA and OFEED under International Federation of Inventor’s association (IFA), Oxford Business group, Patent Magazine – PQAI American Initiative ,Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, UAE – Sparkinov India. They have also received the Sushrutha Innovation Award by the Indian Medical device and Plastic Industry, among other accolades.
