Karabi Acharya, ScD joined Ashoka in 2009 to lead efforts to document the impacts of Ashoka’s work and convene critical conversations that will shape our future. She recently led the design of the 2013 Ashoka Future Forum which brought together over 300 social entrepreneurs, business leaders, philanthropists and journalists to discuss and celebrate thought-provoking solutions. She has worked for over 15 years with the citizen sector in the US, South Asia and Africa drawing on the disciplines of anthropology, public health and systems thinking. She welcomes crossing boundaries and steadfastly refuses to choose one professional label or work in one sector and is currently focused on cultivating more changemakers in the world.
